Children are naturally curious and it’s our role as parents and teachers to provide them with support so they learn to love reading and writing.

Each week, I share ideas to help get kids reading—whether you are a parent who wants your kid to pick up a book in their spare time, or a teacher who is trying to motivate a class full of students to read.

I talk with children’s and middle-grade authors and illustrators, experts in the field of literacy education, as well as share research-based strategies that have worked for my students and my own daughters.
